James has worked in the London insurance market for 25 years originally working in the Political Risk market before moving into the marine market in 2006 with Munich Re Syndicate.
James has since then helped build two Lloyd’s Managing Agencies, including The Standard Syndicate where he helped introduce cyber to the portfolio.
In 2020 co-founded Astaara which is a cyber MGA for marine customers underwriting ships., Ports and cargo
