Christian Dierks

Christian Dierks

Christian Dierks has been working in the Marine Insurance Business since 2003. He spent over ten years at KRAVAG-LOGISTIC Versicherung-AG in Hamburg, initially working in the claims department as a major claims adjuster and team leader, and later as an authorized signatory heading up the Operations & Underwriting department for freight forwarding and warehouse liability/general liability/property insurance at Multicover.

Since 2015, he has been working as a Senior Marine Underwriter at XL Insurance Company SE / XL Catlin Services SE in Cologne and Hamburg. Christian specializes in liability insurance, particularly for multinational freight forwarding companies.

He is also involved in the German Insurance Association’s (GDV) working group on transport liability, where he plays a key role in drafting model terms and conditions.

Christian Dierks lives in Leipzig and is a qualified solicitor and in-house lawyer. He is 53 years old and has two adult children.
