Dylan Mercante

Dylan Mercante is the Americas Hull & Liabilities Product Line Leader at AXA XL and serves on the IUMI Inland Hull, Fishing, & Yacht Committee, as well as the IUMI Seafarer Wellbeing Working Group. A graduate of the New York Maritime Academy at Fort Schuyler, Dylan spent five years sailing as a licensed Merchant Marine Officer aboard Oil Tankers, and Articulated Tug & Barges. He now combines that practical seagoing experience with his marine underwriting expertise.

Dylan holds a Master of Business Administration from St. John’s University, and the Associate in Marine Insurance Management (AMIM) designation. He also serves on the Board for the American Marine Insurance Forum.“
