Jonathan Evans

Jonathan is a Partner at DWF Law LLP whose specialises in marine insurance and reinsurance law, shipping disputes, marine casualties and marine cyber. His experience of handling marine insurance matters includes handling claims under hull & machinery, war, cargo, loss of hire, mortgagee’s interest, marine cyber, charterers‘ liability, yachts, ports and terminals, and protection and indemnity (P&I) policies. He also represents insurers, owners, charterers, and terminal operators in shipping disputes, casualties and third-party recoveries. Jonathan is a regular speaker at many of the leading international marine conferences and to university students. He is also a former Chairman of Lloyd’s Marine Under 35s Insurance Group, a member of the London Maritime Arbitrators’ Association and is an Adjunct External Fellow for the Centre of Maritime Law of the National University of Singapore.
