Olav Lundetræ Hausvik

Olav Lundetræ Hausvik is Deputy Chief Underwriting Officer at Norwegian Hull Club, one of the world’s leading providers of marine and offshore energy insurance. Based in Bergen, Norway, he is responsible for underwriting governance, portfolio management, and for implementing strategic underwriting initiatives across the Club’s global business.
Olav has extensive experience in marine insurance, with particular expertise in hull and machinery, loss of hire, and war risks. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with shipowners, brokers, and industry stakeholders worldwide, supporting risk assessments and underwriting decisions across a broad range of maritime sectors.
