Samuel Markov

Samuel is a senior executive with more than 30 years of experience in the insurance, technology and risk management sectors across Argentina and Latin America. He is the founder and Director of ARM Services, established in 2010, a firm specializing in risk assessment and management solutions for mobile assets, including cargo transport, hazardous goods, fleet safety and telematics, with offices in Argentina and Chile and operations across the region.
Prior to founding ARM Services, he served as Country Manager of Europ Assistance Argentina (Generali Group) and Country Manager/VP of Pointer Argentina (NASDAQ-listed), leading fleet management, vehicle recovery and mobile resource management operations. His earlier career includes senior roles at Liberty Seguros (Liberty Mutual), Banco Mayo / Mayor Seguros and El Plata Seguros, with strong experience in underwriting, operations, P&L and financial management.
Samuel holds a degree in Systems and an MBA in Strategic Management from Universidad de Belgrano, and is a certified corporate director (DEC). He is actively involved in the regional insurance ecosystem, serving as Secretary of the Argentine Insurtech Chamber and Vice-President of the Claims and Loss Prevention Observatory at ALSUM. He is also a frequent international speaker on risk management, cargo theft, Insurtech and data analytics.
